The Rolf C. Syvertsen, MD, 1923 Memorial Endowment Fund
Dr. Rolf Syvertsen touched the lives of countless medical students as a teacher, mentor, and dean during his 37-year tenure at Dartmouth Medical School. Today, his legacy lives on through the Rolf C. Syvertsen, MD, 1923 Memorial Endowment Fund, established in the 1980s through the generosity of alumni and others. The fund provides general support for need-based scholarships to Geisel students and supports the Syvertsen Scholars and Fellows program. As with other endowments, the terms of the fund include provisions for alternate uses to address unforeseen changes in circumstances. Gift additions will be subject to the terms in place now, and any future revisions.
