Deputy Director of Operations and Executive Officer, Charles A. Andersen Simulation Center
Dr. Marc Hohman is based at Madigan Army Medical Center, a network of Army medical facilities located in Washington and California that serves more than 100,000 active duty service members, their families, and retirees. At the Charles A. Andersen Simulation Center, Dr. Hohman supports Continuing Medical Education and Graduate Medical Education by overseeing a mixed civilian and military staff of subject matter experts, administrators, and simulation techs; coordinating exercises with active duty Army units; and assisting the director of operations with administration of the Department of Defense’s largest medical simulation center. Fellowship-trained in facial plastic and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Hohman is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University and served for four years as the otolaryngology residency program director at Madigan Army Medical Center, during which time he established the first multidisciplinary services for facial nerve disorders and facial transgender surgery in the U.S. military.
