I-CARE: Improving Care – Accelerating Recovery & Education
Levy Health Care Delivery Innovation Grand Rounds

Friday, January 20, 2023 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Our aim for the Levy Grand Rounds is to share the development and evaluation of Improving Care—Accelerating Recovery and Education (I-CARE), a novel, innovative mental health intervention developed through funding from the Levy Health Care Delivery Incubator. We will describe the rationale for addressing this urgent mental health need, our transdisciplinary team-based intervention development process, its pilot implementation, and preliminary outcomes.

Attendees will be able to

  1. Describe this task-sharing model of psychosocial intervention delivery during psychiatric boarding,
  2. Understand the intervention components contained in the treatment package, and
  3. Appraise the initial outcomes of this work.
