Purpose of the program: The program enables the alumni body to recognize and honor former classmates, peers, and other worthy alumni of the medical school for service to the school. It also highlights the achievement and accomplishments of graduates who have distinguished themselves in the field of medicine, science, research, or other endeavors.
The program is overseen by the Alumni Recognition Committee of the Geisel Alumni Council and administered through the Office of Alumni Relations.

Nomination Process: Nominations are accepted from any alumnus of the school as well as from other members and friends of the Geisel and Dartmouth Community.
To nominate an alumna/us, complete the online form which asks for information on the nominee’s background, qualifications, and attributes relevant to the particular award. A copy of the individual’s curriculum vita or resume is also required. See the sample letter to request your nominee’s credentials.
The individual submitting the nomination is responsible for securing and forwarding the nominee's CV or resume. These documents can be mailed or to Geisel.Alumni.Relations@dartmouth.edu (please write Alumni Award in the subject line). Submissions that do not include both the nomination form and a CV or resume by the nomination due date will be considered incomplete and will not be considered for review by the Alumni Recognition Committee.
