DMS Reflections - An Appreciative Inquiry Question
Appreciative Inquiry is a strategy of collecting accounts, stories, memories to promote the positive aspects of the learning and training environment of a community. This strategy asks "What works?" and then says "Let's do more of it!" rather than taking the more common approach of asking "What is broken? How do we fix it?"
Hence, the sharing of the many great stories that our alumni can surely relate can provide a very worthwhile resource and source of motivation to current and future generations of Geisel students.
And you can help us. We want to hear from you -- Tell us a part of your story!
We ask that you write no more than a one-page "story" or account about something that you remember as a "positive experience" from DMS which affected your preparation toward becoming a physician. By sharing your story with us, you are giving us permission to use it in its entirety or to quote from on a variety of communications avenues at Geisel.
Thank you for sharing your story!
