Research: Engineered for Health
Collaborations between clinicians at DMS and engineers at Dartmouth’s Thayer School are advancing medicine on many fronts. In this 5 minute video interview, Professor of Engineering Brian Pogue discusses the integration of laser-based imaging and spectroscopic techniques with established clinical imaging technologies such as MRI and CT, as well as the application of photodynamic therapy to cancer treatment. A recent feature article in Dartmouth Engineer describes a number of exciting research collaborations between medicine and engineering at Dartmouth.
